hi guys, i have an 80gb seagate hdd an want to pop it in my box, my box is running xecuter 2.6 modchip, if ne1 knows of any tuts or has ne advice they can pass on i would be grateful, cheers

well if your bios supports bios swapping it is really easy ( so ive been told and from what ive read) im guessing it will but seince i only have a softmod ill point you to a tutorial
this one seems pretty easy if you read it carefully and follow directions and have a few basic xbox knowlege skills like
ftp
cd burning (pc)
*note your going to need the following sckrewdrivers to open the xbox*
Torx 10
Torx 15
Torx 20

I'm just giong to throw the idea of using Chimp 2.4 our there. It clones your old hard drive to your new one and gives you all the extra space. This way you don't lose your game saves and you gain a ton.
There's a chimp tutorial on the AID disk I believe.

or you could just burn a copy of unleashx to a disk (in an xbox iso of course)
unleashx will format the hdd & install itself to it at the press of a button,
