Hi,
Well a few months ago, around Febuary I softmodded my xbox. I've loved it more and more everyday and have found more and more uses for it. Now I'm running up my 120GB hd and I have found that you can't use over 130GB with the stock xbox hardware. But I was also told that a modchip will let you by this. If this is true, I am looking into installing a modchip on my xbox. And I'm going to be looking for a really good one that will let me do pretty much anything I want to do with it. So, what would be a good modchip? Looking to spend around $40-$60.
Thanks,
Xanith

That is absolutely, completely UNTRUE! You can have a bigger HDD than 137 and it will work fine. _________________
Oh, yes, sweet jesus you can use a larger Hard Drive with a softmodded box! Just go to your dashboard's settings and say "enable G drive" then, use the dashboard or file manager to format the G drive and you're a happy camper, baby. No need to pay for a modchip if you don't have the dough... But if you do!!!! Go with the Xecuter 3, or the Xenium (any new model will do just fine) and you won't have any problems. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."
So i'll just have two, or three storage partitions then... Correct?

And this may seem like a dumb question, but when i installed UnleashX I don't remember specifying a certain password for the format menu. But it asks for a password. Does anyone have any clue what it would be? I used xboxhdm to convert to the bigger hd if that helps...
Thanks,
Xanith
