Xbox looking at resurgence with gaming industry continuing to ‘boom’

There are now so many different areas of the gaming industry, which have been part of this rise. From the previously mentioned console gaming, to PC and mobile gaming and other areas such as the online casino market. The latter has also been part of the rise and has continued to look at new pays in order to take this market to the next level. An example has been opening up in different areas of the world, with Delaware online casinos for example, hitting the market back in 2012, following the state legalizing this. Another key example of this is with VR. These virtual reality casinos are clearly the future and will provide a real-life experience of a casino floor from the comfort of our own homes. Similar to we see with different VR games currently on the market for Xbox, such as Superhot, Megaton Rainfall and No Man’s Sky.

Could these VR games also help play a role in pushing forward the popularity for Xbox? Time will tell on this, as they continue to be released and widely available for gamers world-wide.

2020 is expected to see the 2.7 billion gamers world-wide spent in excess of $159 billion. That is also a figure that is expected to rise to over $200 billion by 2023 and then continue this accelerated growth for years to come. It gives a stark reality of just how successful the gaming industry is, as it remains one of the fastest growing industries at present. A large percentage of this growth has been due to mobile gaming, which has also completely changed the usual demographic of a gamer. But it still appears to be a positive year ahead for console gaming, which projected figures that it will rise by around 6.8% year on year to a figure of $45.2 billion, with around 730 million players. Let’s hope that Xbox can continue to see great success moving forward.
