Xbox Live Gold subscribers can now download a free demo for Resident Evil 6 via the Xbox Live Marketplace. If you haven't got a gold subscription you'll be waiting until September 28th to access the 889MB public demo.
The latest installment of the Resident Evil franchise is here! A deadly bioterrorist attack in China has Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Jake Muller all fighting for their lives. Their separate paths become interconnected through various twists of fate. What outcome awaits our three protagonists? Play a portion of all three characters’ campaigns in this demo for Resident Evil 6. You can also play online with a friend if you have an Xbox LIVE Gold Membership.
 
Resident Evil 6 is set in 2013, 10 years after the Raccoon City incident. The world is in turmoil as the C-virus has reached pandemic proportions and threatens to consume the world in a horrific end of days scenario. Under the threat of this global bioterrorist attack, our heroes battle to save the world in a story of fear on an unprecedented scale.
