During Last Mondays E3 press conference, EA's Patrick Bach played through a single player mission titled "Thunder Run" that showcased an open tank battle from the single player campaign of Battlefield 3. The mission is set in the Iranian desert where the player finds themselves coming up against a pack of enemy tanks.
