Australian Classification Board Kills Mortal Kombat With A Fatality

Mortal Kombat has failed to pass the Australian game classifications board due to the fact Australia still does not have a R18+ rating for video games.
The sad story continues as Mortal Kombat gets "The Kiss Of Death" by the classifications board. The classic adult fighting series that has been raw and unaltered since it's arrival is now too adult for the whole of Australia.
We are sorry to have to break the news to our Australian readers but even with a severe alteration to the game it will not make the game not worth getting anyways.
Will Mortal Kombat ever "GET OVER HERE!!!" again? At this point in time the future is looking bleak.
Mortal Kombat will feature at least 26 playable characters in addition to an unknown number of downloadable (DLC) characters. The game is scheduled for release April 30, 2011 in North America.
