With all the word floating around about the 360 pro being removed from the selection and the new PS3 slim on the way it looks like there might just be a price drop on the way for the 360, now lets see how long it takes to get all the pro 360s out of circulation.
MCV reports: MCV can reveal that Microsoft will confirm its new SKU line-up in a matter of hours
After weeks of speculation, MCV can finally confirm that tomorrow is the day that Microsoft will reveal its new intentions for the Xbox 360.
The announcement is expected to include the ditching of the mid-range Pro SKU and a price drop for the high-end Elite model.
It’s also likely that there will be changes made to the Arcade SKU, too.
The move comes ahead of the official launch of Sony’s PS3 Slim console on Tuesday – an act of very deliberate timing and not, as had been previously suggested, a delayed announcement owing to excessive hardware stock in the channel.
MCV has contacted Microsoft for comment.
