17 Wiis Sold Per Second on Amazon

Online retailer Amazon.com is boasting that this holiday season was its best ever, noting the Wii as one of its fastest sellers.
Amazon announced Wednesday that it sold about 17 Wiis per second “when they were in stock,” which probably wasn’t all that often.
Super Mario Galaxy and Call of Duty 4 were also top-sellers in the videogame category.
The busiest day for Amazon wasn’t “Cyber Monday,” rather December 10, when customers ordered over 5.4 million items. The firm said that 99 percent of its holiday orders shipped on time to over 200 countries.
