In yet another instance of retail chains jumping the gun on unfortunate publishers, LucasArts has inadvertently announced a special pre-order bonus for Armed & Dangerous through the GameStop retail chain. According to their pre-order solicitation page, customers who order the upcoming Xbox and PC shooter from Planet Moon Studios in advance will receive a special bonus disc containing the PC adventure classic Sam & Max Hit the Road.

Though it's not well-known to more recent generations of gamers, PC adventure fans still venerate Sam & Max for its cool cartoon graphics and demented sense of humor. The first adventure of dog detective Sam and his lagomorph pal Max (he looks like a rabbit, but he's not) remains one of the most reliably quotable games ever made.
