XBOX-HQ.COM - Codemasters Joins Steam

UK-based Codemasters is the latest publisher to bring games to Valve’s ever-expanding Steam digital distribution service. Codemasters’ first Steam release is Clive Barker’s Jericho (pictured), released October 23 in North America and on October 26 in remaining territories.

Other games coming to Steam include Triumph Studios’ Overlord, Codemasters’ own Dirt and Spark’s upcoming Turning Point: Fall of Liberty.

Over 13 million PC users use Steam globally, according to Valve.

Numerous game makers, from big-name publishers such as Activision to independent studios like Introversion feature games on the increasingly-popular Steam.
