From http://www.dms3.com:
We would like to announce some of the changes and extra features for X-B.I.T. First of all we have changed the design to a 2MB flash, the banks can be selected by the Dip switches. The configuration will be saved in the USB controller's memory This means that you can store and individually select from a BIOS from a total of seven combinations.

Secondly, we have implemented a slick G.U.I in the PC software which will make flashing the device easy and convenient.

Picture of the latest prototypes

On the left you can see the modchip that can be installed with pogopins (with dual d0 for v1.0/1.1 and v1.2/1.3), headerpin and the rightside port is probably the wire-adaptor. The 2 topside ports are to connect with the external PCB adaptor. On the right you can see the external PCB adaptor with the switches and the USB-port to flash the chip.
