Ravage from 360gamesvaes forums discovered it is in fact possible to use the custom soundtrack feature of your legacy xbox games by simply transferring the music and 'st.db' music database file to your XBOX360 HardDrive! Makes us wonder if this functionality will be added in a coming 360 Dashboard update.

From ravage on the 360gamesaves forums:
I haven't seen any mention of using custom soundtracks for Xbox games working on your Xbox 360, and I got it working today when I got Forza Motorsport, so I thought I would share this.

On the Xbox, soundtracks are stored in "/E/TDATA/FFFE0000/".
You need to ftp the entire directory "FFFE0000" off your modded Xbox, then connect your Xbox 360 HDD to your PC and put the "FFFE0000" directory into "Partition 3/Compatibility/Xbox1/TDATA/" with Xplorer360(info).
Load up a Custom Soundtrack enabled Xbox game on your Xbox 360 and choose your own music from it's menu.
