Time to lock up your Xbox and PS2.
You have to feed the addiction somehow, and apparently Little Rock, Arkansas criminals are stimulating their need for videogames by...stealing them? Little Rock police spokesman Sergeant Terry Hastings told the Associated Press that PlayStation 2 and Xbox machines had become popular targets for Little Rock burglars.
At the moment, videogame-related items rank third in the area's most popular stolen items behind DVD players and TVs. In the period between February 11th and March 10th, a variety of consoles and actual videogames were stolen in 33 separate incidents in the Little Rock and North Little Rock area.
Time to start locking those valuables up! Living on a college campus, I live in perpetual fear of two things: drunken frat guys breaking down my door and stealing my Xbox 360 and copy of Madden NFL 2006 and accidentally leaving the oven on while I'm at class and returning hours later to find my apartment in flames.
