Tomb Raider heroine enters Guinness World Records

What a coincidence that just as Tomb Raider: Legend launches in Europe and the week before the busty female's United States debut, Eidos Interactive announces she's been awarded "Most Successful Human Videogame Heroine" by Guinness World Records.

This isn't the first time videogames have entered Guinness' database; Nintendo currently holds the record for the most popular handheld videogame system with the original black and white Game Boy and Sony can lay claim to PlayStation 2 being the fastest selling console of all-time.

Weirdly, we weren't able to find Lara's record on the official Guinness World Records website, but that's probably more to do with an out-of-date website than anything else.
