Wal Mart And Future Shop Expecting More Xbox 360's

Well things seem to be shaping up for Canadians waiting for an Xbox 360. Major retailers like Wal-Mart and Future Shop will Both have more consoles before the end of the month.
As we reported earlier today Future Shop is expected to have another shipment in for this weekend. When asked how many units they anticipate, our local sales associate simply said “we don’t know.” Best advice would be to contact your local store for more specific details
Later on this month between the 25th and the 26th, Wal-Mart stores in Canada will also receive another shipment of Xbox 360’s. As with Future Shop, Wal-Mart was unable to provide any specific information in regards to how many units they will be getting. Again, keep in contact with your local store.
It might be a good idea to keep an eye on other places like Best Buy (who own Future Shop), Circuit City, Target and even EB Games for more shipments as well. We have heard stories of people walking in to their local Target and just picking up a 360 with no trouble.
The estimated number of Xbox 360s shipped so far is around 1.3 million, at 600,000 to 800,000 per month. By June Microsoft hopes to ship another 4.5 million consoles. However, the question remains; why have we not seen an increase in shipments yet?
Hopefully Wal-Mart Future Shop and every other retailer will start getting more frequent shipments in so we can finally move on to more important things like who has the highest score.
