European Xbox jamboree this October where we fully expect to dirty hands on Xbox 360's launch line up.

In May news emerged that Microsoft was to resurrect its 'Xbox jamboree' European event X0 this year. A couple of months on and the company has now confirmed a few details revealing that X05 will take place on October 4 and October 5. We don't know where it'll take place yet though, with the venue currently a closely guarded secret.

Microsoft says that X05 "will offer industry leaders and influencers around the world the chance to fully experience Xbox 360 and will mark the beginning of the next generation of gaming in Europe.... Microsoft will unveil more detailed plans for the new Xbox 360 system that puts players at the centre of the most powerful next-generation games and entertainment experiences."

If we don't get confirmation on the full Xbox 360 launch line-up and all the games aren't present, we'll, we'll... be really sad. Sniffle. And we should get confirmed UK/Europe release date and pricing details for Xbox 360 - if it's not been announced prior to the event of course.

X0 has previously been privy to a number of key Xbox announcements - confirmation on Microsoft's acquisition of Rare at X02, for example - on both first- and third-party ventures, so along with dirtying hands on Xbox 360 games and all the other stuff we fully expect to get additional juicy revelations regarding future 360 action.
