Konami announced today Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare (TMNT3) for the Xbox video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube and Nintendo DS. The most in-depth TMNT game to date, TMNT3 introduces a wealth of unique features, including characters that evolve, a new experience point system, improved fighting control and more advanced multiplayer capabilities. As a special bonus, old-school Turtle fans will be able to unlock one of the original TMNT arcade games.

TMNT3 puts more of a focus on teamwork, character development and control than any other console Turtles game to date. Gamers can play as their favorite Turtle alone or with up to three friends, earning experience points along the way as they slash and bash Foot Ninjas and powerful, well-known bosses from the TMNT universe.
