As many of you already know, a team of elite hackers found a powerful exploit in Microsoft’s dashboard. This exploit now allows an XBox to run (nearly) as though a mod chip has been installed.

What does this mean for XDeck?
A little but for the most part nothing has changed. The need for a hard drive switch is still very much a reality, but the need for BIOs control has been diminished. Because of this, the XDeck will also be developed without these controls in a "Free-XDeck" version. This will cut cost for this XDeck model and will allow more modders to afford the unit. Do to the added simplicity; this model will be released first.
