According to Prudential Financial’s research note dated May 28, Microsoft is reportedly reviewing the market prospects to launch a new Xbox Next PC product. The analyst mentions that this product is likely to include some of the PC functions, in addition to the Xbox game console. Microsoft’s Xbox Next PC can be connected to a PC monitor and a television, Jyske Bank says.

According to the ongoing speculations, Microsoft is likely to price its Xbox Next PC at around $599, the analyst says. However, the company is expected to continue with its pure Xbox Next game console offering at a relatively low price, Jyske Bank adds.

The analyst expects the eventual success of Microsoft’s new Xbox Next PC product to considerably boost the company’s game console market share. However, currently there is limited visibility into the launch and overall functions available with the company’s new hybrid computer offering, the analyst says.
