Activision announced today that it has allied with Discovery Consumer Products to develop a series of multi-platform games based on the popular show American Chopper. The games, to be published under the Activision Value Brand, will draw inspiration from the show's depiction of a father and son who build chopper motorcycles in their garage.

Every week, millions of consumers tune in to find out what it takes to make one of these unique handcrafted motorcycles and the ongoing story about the theme bikes that the Teutuls build."

While specifics on the games have yet to be revealed, the first titles are expected to hit this holiday season for all major platforms.
