mêlée is a win32 application which permits your xbox system link games to extend over the internet. A public centralized server allows you to host or join xbox system link games. Use of the server is free and open.
The mêlée communication core was designed with performance and robustness in mind. As new versions are made available, they will be benefiting from increased performance due to a reduction in bandwidth requirements and traffic management techniques. This will result in decreased latency during game play and allow lower upstream bandwidth clients to host a greater number of players.
The beta release user interface is in its infancy, but the communication core is solid and high-performance.
