what dash are you using, need more info if you are using evox be sure to scroll down and save changes before you exit if you are using UnleashX you can choose DHCP and it should auto detect your settings, be sure to save settings on UnleashX as well _________________ XBOX ver.1

how are you connected to your xbox??
1. PC --->> XBOX (direct connection)
eg. You should be using a CROSS OVER CABLE for this connection
2. PC --->> ROUTER/HUB/SWITCH --->> XBOX
eg. You should be using a standard NETWORK CABLE for this connection.
DeatH@Hand is also right in saying dont forgot to scroll down and choose save and then save & exit just to make sure it is saving your settings.

I'm having a similar problem as the thread starter. I'm using a Netgear Fast Ethernet Switch FS105. I'm trying to use the internet with XBMC, AVALaunch, and UnleashX. I've set up to use DHCP all I get is 0.0.0.0 for the IP no other values, and yet no luck with say weather feature on XBMC, connecting to the internet with AVALaunch, stuff like that. On AVA it says invalid DNS, but shouldn't it autodetect those numbers? With UNLeash it doesn't allow me to manually input numbers for anything with DHCP on. Also how do I go about FTP'ing with a router? Seeing as how I can't put in my own IP? I can still connect to the internet fine with my computer connected to the router. It's like the router isn't talking to the BoX. Is there a way of "seeing" the router from my computer? I figured they were just plug and play devices. Any info would be great. Maybe a start to finish TUT perhaps. I tried search that's how I found this thread. Thanx
P.S. Hopefully this goes along the lines of your Ques. ngungungu. If not I'm sorry _________________ GBox v1.0
