I am curious to know if there is a way to see if an XBox is Soft Modded or Soldered. We are running EvoX 3912 ( 2004) and we wanted to update it with AID. But we are unsure of what the outcomee will be, If we do the wrong thing based on the modification requirements. I would greatly appreciate any input on this subject. And if this has been posted already I apologize, I searched (skimmed) looking for this topic

yes, load AID and goto the file manager. or file explorer. not sure of the naming. one in the file exploer. take a look at the c drive. if you see a file that has the word shadow in it, then its soft moddded. if not then its hard nodded. _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com

have the case screws been removed? if they have good chance its hard modded. Look through the side of the case for any leds

some chips have a led look inside left hand side of xbox to see if theres a led red blue green or others

The first time i opened my xbox it took an hour, because i had no idea what tools were need where, and where things were at. Now i can get an xbox open in 5 mins _________________
