I had to return an xbox because the clock screen kept coming up when i turned it on. they replaced it with a green xbox, some kind of halo thing.
I checked the version of the box, 1.2 or something, not a 1.6. It softmodded fine. And I used chimp to clone a new hard drive ( 160 ) it wouldnt open the whole drive when i connected it. It will only show about 6 g with the new 160 g connected and with jumper in master. I already did the whole process with another box, so i know the chimp program worked once. I did it about 5 times and i keep getting the same results.
thanks for any help

thanks for the fast reply.
i tried looking for a tutorial for that. do you know where I can get one? And is there a place to get the xboxpartitioner ? I had trouble using the AID program, and only FTPed stuff from one chipped xbox to another non chip. And I got chimp from you last time. thanks again. Do you think its difficult? Did I do something wrong maybe?

You can find the info for xboxpartitioner here: http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/postt22438.html
The App XBpartitioner is on the aid disk.
Hard to say if you did anything wrong but its all fixable so don't worry man.

thanks again
i tried to use the aid program a while ago, but it didnt work for me, i think my computer is too old. I will try to break it apart and find the xboxpartitioner program. not sure if that will work. is there anywhere to get it? xbins?
that tuturial sounds complicated, but when i have the program, it might make more sense. i still dont know why chip worked on another box, but only copied a partion of it and not the rest, maybe it got an error and didnt finish. didnt open the rest of the drive.
you might just have a green one after i give up--haha

you could use UnleashX to format your partitions (password to the format menu: Xbox),
but you'll probably need the UnleashX Toolset in your case,
if you want I can upload it to rapidshare or your favorite hosting site?
but I don't think links to it are aloud here, so maybe pm me with your email,
then I'll send the link to you,
