Since you have a chip it should still boot the disk from a dead start.
Pop in the aid disk and use the format options to clear the drives then use the chiped one click install to rebuild the HDD.

I must not have burned the AID V4.20 correctly it doesn't boot when I put it in the drive nothing comes up it spins bout it. I know all the aid files are on it though. So basically I could format the drives with the AID v4.20 and have updated dash board and everything?

AID will take a long time to boot because of the large config file. Wait 45 seconds and it should boot, if not then its your brand of DVD-R. _________________

Firstly, open DVD Decrypter, then press the W button. This is a shortcut to the ISO Writing Screen. Alternatively you can go to Tools, Select ISO, and then Write on the submenu box that the menu pops up. When this screen appears you can either browse for your ISO file, or just drag and drop it into the window. Now, before proceeding (which is click on the HDD to DVD icon) make sure you have the verify box ticked and the Write Speed set at a low speed, to ensure that is burned properly.
Once this is all done you can proceed to burn your CD-RW / DVD. If you start receiving write errors while burning, try a lower writing speed.
Did you read the guide and are you using AID 4.20?

Yes Ive been reading the manual. AID is installed now. But more problems. On reboot it looks for xboxdash.xbe and pulls up my msdashboard. So I had to name my unleash x which was evoxdash.xbe to xboxdash.xbe. I am not sure where to change the name in the bios because I can't launch msdash from unleashed X? Also my roms didn't install, when I go to install the roms I get a delete.this.file message. The emulators are installed. Now I question if the roms were burn't to the dvd. I went back and they should be in the same folder ADDONS, but in the manual it says AID4.Romset.xxxx:

Guess I just need to know if the roms are included in V4.20? If not, where do I get them for the emulators?

No aid has no Roms since that would be piracy.

Right you are Wes. The HQ doesn't support piracy.
Anywayz, I had the same type of problem, remember Wes? It wouldn't let me install evox as my dash, just xbmc and that stupid anodx shit which is what i have now but i haven't messed with anything on it since then. haha _________________

Well I can live with that problem, at least I know that its looking for xboxdash.xbe, I don't use msdash for much since it is the reason I started this mess, since I tried to use xbox live and got the service 21 fun screen. It would be nice to have the roms though....only reason for doing this.

You can get back ups of the games you own from torrents.
Make sure to get the ones you own since anything more is piracy.

He can fix the dash error by using aid to reinstall the MS dash, that will fix error 21.
Then install the mod dash and name the xbe evox.xbe or evox dash. xbe (one of the 2).
Ware is your mod dash located?
