ok there is a tutorial on here that someone had wrote i am just going to add a few neat and faster tricks to get this project done without soldering and taking off the front on the xbox..
Please Note:
This is your own free will...i have not pointed a gun at your head and told you to do this....
Tools Required:
- 1 controller
- 1 small ended phillips
- 1 xbox
- torx 20 and 10
- 1 momentary switch
- drill and bit
- 24 gauge wire
- wire cutters
- electric tape
- patience
1. take controller apart
2. get a momentary switch and install it where you chose (I am using intec controller, mine is on top above program and turbo button)
3. connect a ground lead wire to one side and then another lead wire to the other
4. most all controllers are set up like 0 0 0 0 0 0

connect ground lead to the first hole on controller (ground flat) motherboard by inserting the lead wire into ajacent side of the connector and then the same for the pther into the 3rd hole (yellow)
5. open xbox
6. take out 3 top screws
7. place to side the hdd and rom
8. cut the yellow wire on the gameport that you are modding
9. attach a longer piece of wire to the yellow that you just cut
10. tape it up
11. insert wire into the 6st hole (2nd row and 1st hole) in the front panel connections
12. test
