The Italian Job is a mission based driving game set around the city of los angles loosely following the plot of the film.

The Italian Job is a mediocre game slapped together with cut scenes and average graphics. The game features 3 game modes the main one is the story mode. The story mode consists of around 15 missions where you put up against the clock and need to get from one location to another. The missions are not very varied and mainly consist of getting from A to B in the time limit with the added excitement of a police chase here and there.

Apart from the simple story mode the game also features a Free roam mode, circuit races and stunt tracks. The stunt mode is mildly enjoyable in which you have to keep you car on a small track and negotiate tight turns without coming of the track or falling in a no go zone. This can also become very frustrating as its incredibly easy to get the car stuck on its side or fall of the track. When this happens you have two choices. Either wait for timer to run out or manually restart game. That was very bothersome.

The Italian job is an average game which is probably only going to satisfy die hard Italian Job Fans. I would say this ones only worth a rental, but judge for yourself.
