I enjoy this game but not like the first KoToR. To get right to it, the first KoToR was better because you had to think more. You really could control the situation more fully in the original.
One of the big selling points for improvements in this game was that your party would shift to the dark and light with you, but that was almost counter productive. Everytime you "gain influence" with one party member, you seem to lose influence with another.
In KoToR your decisions completely alter the universe, and in KoToR 2 you don't have the same control.
I would say this game is fun to play some weekend, when you are sick or really bored, but I'd recommend purchasing the first KoTor twice before buying this one once.
