Unlock special teams quickly:
Set the game time to one minute and win the game. You will unlock the first team. Repeat this process to unlock all the special teams.
Distract opponent''s freethrows:
When another human player is making a freethrow, press L + R to vibrate their controller.
Get point guard on the opposing team fouled out:
Whenever you score, let the point guard on the other team take the ball down the court. When he crosses the half-court line, stand by on the free throw line. The point guard will wait a few seconds, then try to go to the hole. When this happens, quickly press Charge (Y) and the referee should call a charge. Keep repeating this until he gets fouled out.
Editing players:
Once you have loaded the game, go to "Features", then to "Roster Manager". Select "Team Rosters" and keep pressing White or Black to find your team. Recommended team:
At the menu screen, go to "Options". Move down to "Manage Roster" and select it. Create a player and enter the "Basic Info", "Appearance", "Tattoos", "Accessories", and "Shoes". When you get to "Attributes", move everything to 99. Make twelve players, or just make the whole team the same player. When you are done, create a team choose the players you want. Choose the player or players with 99. The maximum is 15, and the minimum is 12. When done, go back to the to the menu screen and select "Load/Save". Then, select "Load" after that. Next, move to your "Roster" and select "OK". When you go to "Quick Game", you will have the best team in the league.
Easy wins:
Pause the game, then go to the options and select "Gamesliders". While there, you can max out your stats. Then, press Start to lower your opponents stats before resuming the game.
Easy Baskets in 24/7 mode:
When you facing someone in 24/7 mode and are down 7-0 (or something similar), get the ball and go up to the top of the key. You can either pump once, then shoot; or drive past him going left. If you have the ball after you receive the check, pump once, drive to either side, and make a layup.
Easy skills and points in 24/7 mode:
This trick requires two controllers. Go to training for something like 3 pointers. When you start using both controllers, you will have control of your opponent. This gives you the chance to do as much training as desired. For the ratings, it works the same way -- you will have control of your opponent.
Halloween 24/7 prizes:
Set the system date to October 31 to get prizes such as a pumpkin head and pumpkin ball in 24/7 mode.

Reach 100 in any area of training to get a mascot''s head for use in 24/7 mode:
