We were thinking along the same lines... I tried avalanch and it worked, but also power down with the power button instead of selecting restart in the menu

You should be able to install any dashboard from AID 2 and it should work. It's weird how you're getting avalaunch to work and not unleashx.

Please post any questions requiring help here.
Before doing so, in order to make things easier for us and you, please try and do the following before posting:
1) Read the manual carefully, atleast twice. This should be able to cover about 80-90% of your problems.
2) Check the current posts, it may have already been covered.
If you can do these two things, we will be able to get more problems dealth with easier. I will also be making a thread regarding errors if any do appear.
Enjoy...
Hi I have followed both directions and still have found no solution. I would almost call it a bug and was hoping the upgrade pack would have fixed this but after reading the readme file their was no mention of it.
Heres where I consider the bug. After installing Avalaunch (with aid 2.0) I notice the "File Manager" on Ava won't open and just freezes the box. To my surprise I have to use the AID 1.1 for it to work. I have tried several hdds and all have the same issue. Could some shed some clarity on this issue im having with Ava's file manager on AID 2.0?

About the only thing I can think of is Avalaunch's version is different between 1.01 and 2.0, version 1.01 uses 0.49.2 and version 2 uses 0.49.3.
I suggest deleting the gamesave that avalaunch leaves on your HDD before using a newer version. If you still have problems, it could be a problem with Avalaunch itself.
Hope that helps...

Actually on the hdd that i'm referring it's new out of the box, so no previous Ava game saves on it. But I didn't think is was an issue with Avalaunch cause in the hdd that was there b4 I had Ava 0.49.3 and the file manager worked just fine. However I will go to my usual place and download the latest ava and try it.
Just for testing purposes could someone install avalaunch from AID 2.0 and try load the "File Manager" and see if it runs. With all the experience from the thread starter of this topic I would put my money on him and say it's his probably correct. I'm just puzzled and will try other ways to find the error.

Just wondering...I've downloaded a couple of the AID V.2 off of the FTP and whenever I try to extract is wants me to point it to another file. The file name changes with each version I DL. Am I supposed to download all of the AID files AID2.r01 - AID2.r11?

Yes you are supposed to download all the RAR files before it can extract properly, otherwise it just simply won't extract.

I have a few questions for you DJB.
1. How do I remove or uninstall app I do need?
2.I have several dashboards how do I set it so the one I want loads when powered on. Right now it comes up to the original evox blue with that swirl thing and I have to select a evox 3921 or 3935 from my apps list, But whe I reboot it comes back to the original one, How do I set a default dashboaard to load or uninstall ones I don't want?

OK, I'm not the only person to asks questions to, plenty of our admins or members can help you.
1) 2 ways, either with the file manager built into UnleashX (or the AID 2 menu), or by FTP. You'll have to navigate to where you installed the app, and then delete the folder that contains the program you want to delete, for example F:\Apps\HDDLoader
2) One way to have multiple programs selectable at your fingertips when you boot up is to install XSelect. Check the AID 2 manual Chapter 9 on more info about this program. AID 2 Manual Link
Hope that helps...
