I've seen many O'satin childred...lo.
My wife and I have lucked out tremendously. We have a very good little girl. Yes, she gets pretty much everything she wants, because daddy cannot say no, but mommy is the yang as I am the ying. She keeps an even balance by not letting her get away with too much. It's a great trade off.
Jenna is unique in the way that she really cares about other peoples feelings and as much as she likes receiving, she loves giving equally. I am very glad I got a girl. I wish I had a hundred more. My brother has two girls and they are so different. I don't think they get the attention they need.
Also, my household is a little different as both my wife and I work out of the house so my daughter gets to be with us constantly. We have never had to do the day care thing, babysitter thing or anything remotely like that. You can tell the difference between a child that is loved, and a loved child. Especially little girls. Daughters and mothers always have the conflicting relationship for sure...but if a father can spend several hours a day with his daughter, and have things in common that they can do together it's amazing how she responds. I can even tell a difference with her friends when they come over. You can tell their fathers unfortunately don't have the luxury of all the extra time in the schedule to do the little things. NOt that they dont love their daughters once ounce less than I do mine, it's just the comments her friends make when I sit down with them and do a craft, color, do some baking, play video games, or even just make popcorn and catch a movie, show the lack of time most fathers get to spend with their children.
To anyone out there who will someday have kids....spend every waking moment that you can spend with them. The reward is incredible. Luckily, my daughter is an only child and she can monopolize my time. I even try to include her in my work. Even if it's just her handing me a specific tool or telling me when something is done downloading....she feels like she is really accomplishing something with me. When my primary business does take me out of the house, I let her tag along and work on the laptop while I talk with my clients. She's a trip.

This thread has told me allot about you dude.
Just last night I was talking to my girlfriend about how necessary it is for a parent to spend as much time as possible with their children during their early years, its the most important time when they learn all of their most important values. You seem to share this idea, and the outcome is reflected by your girl's behavior. This will help you and her in the long run I’m sure because it will make it easier for her to talk to daddy during her adolescence.
IMO childcare is a rip off, no offence to anyone here in the business, but nothing can replace the love and watchful eye of a concerned parent.
This thread has gone a bit off topic I see, but that’s ok. You can tell allot about a person by their children... You are a rich man indeed!
Good show on the mod, and good show on being a great parent! I’m sure in her later years she will give you even more to be proud of!

That would be pretty cool. Can incorporate the face of the pink panther on the top part, mouth nose and eyes...
and then on the front have him leaning against the side to the right of the fourth controller port..almost like he's leaning against a wall. Then, on the left side Inspector Clouseau(spell?) between the first and second port looking at the ground with a big magnifying glass...then pink panther foot prints all the way in between...
