I currently have a linkysys wireless gaming adapter to connect to my wireless network (Model No. WGA54G).
I wanted to figure out a way of getting this inside the xbox. I thought it might be possible to fit it underneath or behing the DVD frive with the casing stripped away but to get it to work I would need i three way 9 pole switch which is pretty much imposible to get. This would mean I could connect the bridge to motherboard, bridge to ethernet port for programming it and ethernet port to motherboard for wired networks.
I really cannot see this working but I don't want to give up hope. I would like to hear from anyone who has done this or anything similar or who has any ideas as to what I could do. _________________ V1.4 Xbox

I havent done anyhting like that, but if you get it to work let us all know.
The wireless adapter is it G, or G+ (speedbooster or what ever they call it)?

The bridge is just plain wireless G.
The problem is not fitting it inside the case but getting the channels sorted. As anyone would know all the channels must be kept separate so finding a 3 way switch with the 8 or 9 pins (i'm not quite sure) needed to do this is proving remakably difficult. I think the only way I could do it is using several switches but that would mean having to switch more than one to get it to work.
Also I wanted to keep the functionality of the wired ethernet, the only ways I figured I could connect to that and the motherboard would be to either turn it upside down or move it.
Anyways I shall see what I can do with it, if i screw up my hardware i'll be back furious as hell, if i succeed I'll post a tutorial.
Any ideas or help anyone would like to ive me would be greatly appreciated. _________________ V1.4 Xbox

Now that's innovation man! I think that is awesome. I wouldn't have the time or the balls...okay, the brains...to do something like that!
That will be the tutorial of the year if you get it straightened out man!
Good luck, keep us posted. _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter
