If i install a USB port into my xbox controller, can i use the memory to carry my backup xbox games folder into a big usb drive and put the games onto my computer?

only if it compatible and able to be formatted and it sould not require a driver

if i format the drive for the xbox will it still auto locate on my pc? Does anyone know where i can get a list of the known compatible usb hds that work?
