I copied Conflict: Desert Storm II to the xbox HD and when I try to play it, I get the dirty/damaged disc error. I've already backed up a few other games and they play flawlessly. I used the DVD2Xbox that came w/Slayer's 2.5. I read somewhere else that changing from 50mhz to 60mhz in M$Dash can fix this... is this correct? If so how do I do it? Is there anything else I can do? DVD2Xbox said all files copied fine...

I don't see how upgrading to a certain MS Dash could help a hacked game. But, stranger things have happened.

If it were me, I would delete game and try again. Getting that error playing a game off the HD to me, just doesn't make sense.

You can also try using a different program to copy games. I have always used Pxx HD Loader and never had a problem.

I dont really think this will help your problem but give it a go anyway and let us know how it goes..

ok. To change your XBOX Video settings you must BOOT the NORMAL M$ DASHBOARD...

Under evox its called M$ Dashboard.

Once it loads your standard xbox dashboard up you should select 'settings' and then choose 'video'..

Now right in front of you it will display all the video modes including widesceen 16:9 50mhz/60mhz etc.. Just pick what you want and reboot your xbox..

thats it..

Like realmccloy says im guessing you havent copied all the files over properly or something.. Give it another go..

hope that helps!

tried pxhdd, no luck. tried using clonexb then ftp'd it, no luck. burnt .iso to dvd, same error when reading off that disc. dvd2xbox is saying that no files failed to copy....

also, wrt changing refresh rates - i'm getting no such options in m$dash. is that because my xbox is U.S.?
