hey guyz which mod chip is best to use to go on xbox live yes this meens one that you can turn off i dont care about price and shit just want best that i can go on live with!!!! i had a look at the xecuter spice i think it was but it seems you cant turn that off??? or can you? _________________

lol , i think you are talking about xenium spice ,
the chip is great , i recomend it .
the chip has its own OS ,
to go on xbox live the harddrive needs to locked and you need to choose
to boot original kernel (bios) from the chip menu ,
once you do that the chip will disable itself so there are no switches that need to be flipped .

xenium is the shit....I just don't agree with the sp.ice.....because I like to take my box over to friends houses and stuff and I think it would suck to take a box over to a friends house expecting to play eachother that night and bam....all of a sudden your box doesn't work because the chip got jarred around in the backpack....now for a ps2 thats a different story...solderless is the way to go since the board is just soooooo fucked up ....but the xbox especially with the xenium is pretty leanient. _________________ Xbox V1.6

its not the chip that lets you boot without a dvd drive its the bios.
