Hi Guys!
I'm a newbie to xbox. I've got problem with my Xbox Media Center which my frend install for me last mth. it doesn't seems to be working, it hangs on blank screen when i launch it. I've re-install and update the program through internet and its still tyhe same. I've even try to goto File Manager and execute the application from D:\apps\xboxmedia\default.xbe, still the same.
Is there anyway that i can reinstall it or do i have to edit the default.xbe of the application?
Please advice.

My first advice is, make sure you post in the proper forum. You had this in the Classified section.

Use avalaunch to download the most stable version of XBMC
It actually downloads the xbmc and put`s it were it`s supposed to
go ( make sure you download the update afterwards )
it will hang for a while if you don`t have it plugged into a network,
just give it a mo.

I've downloaded the software aand has run the update but still the same. It hangs on a blank screen, i've waited quite long. I believe it won't take for 10 to 15 minutes to launch rite.
Is there any other ways to rectify this problem? Or can i copy the XBMC folder from my friend's xbox to my console? will that solve?
