hey guys,
i've ftped my xbox to my pc, copied the conker files to my pc, then i tried to convert the files into the burnable iso using cxbox tool and i get an error message "error - invalid characters in filename"
can you guys help me, i already delted some dashupdate file which someone told me to delete in order to make the game fit on an dvd.

Since ofcourse you are talking about backing up your own original game i would suggest using DVD2XBOX to dump the game from original to the xbox hdd.. Then you would ftp in and access those files and transfer to your PC for XISO creation..

Use DVD2XBOX as it removes most copy protection.

heheh lol.. Fill us in.. Dont leave us sitting here mate..
Ok, it was quite a simple problem really, just took me a while to figure it out cos......never mind.
The problem was that ':' sybol cannot be used but that was the title that was in the name. I just removed that and then it work perfectly.
A simple problem but a stupid one imo
