Ive tried burning fable twice both times it won't work on my xbox, ive successfully burned plenty of other games but i can't seem to get it to work, does fable have some sort of special copy protection? im using cxboxtool to make the xiso and i use nero to burn the image. ive tried 2 different brands of dvd's but it come up with a dirty disc error wen you put the disc in

are you using DVD2XBOX to dump the game from the XBOX DVDROM drrive to your XBOX HDD??
Dvd2Xbox removes most copy protection during the copy process so its always best to use it first and then FTP into the xbox hdd and copy to your pc..
You shouldnt receive any errors then.. Although i havent tried to backup fable myself..

still came up with the same error, i did exactly wat you said, hmm weird, maybe you can't copy Fable. it always comes up with a message with a bright green border, green font which says "There's a problem with the disc you're using. It may be dirty or damaged."
oh well i give up

you obviously need a patch or hdd fix.
Go hunting.. Im sure it will be available somewhere.. They always are.
Go looking for fable hddfix or fable patch or fable.xbe
It will only need to patcj one or two files.. Most probably the defaul.xbe

well here you go... ill tell you exactly how to do it
Use DVD2XBOX then use Craxtion (not version 4) so use version 3 or earlier then, create an iso from the DVD2XBOX created files. Worked for me!
Also Burn with dvd decrypter, at speeds around 2X

Ok here's how you do it. Ready?
1st step get your fable dvd got it?
2nd step now put gas or lighter fluid.
3rd pour it on the dvd
Final step use a match or a lighter and have it touch the dvd.
There now you got yourself a "burned" fable dvd
