My modchip's are still arriving in the mail. They are two E-cuter 2.6 modchips. When I install the modchip to my error coded xbox can I go to it's main dashboard and play games from there? My box dosen't load games. I was wondering if a chip would help.

I'm quite puzzled as to why your
games don't work.
error 16 is a dash related error
according to superfro.

I have had a v1.6 softmodded with error 16 and it wouldn't boot anything.
No retail games at all.
Used a chip and formatted drive c. Reinstalled ms dash(from AID 2). Removed the chip and then reapplied the softmod. _________________ Xbox v1.3

Could I still play games from the modded dashboard with the modchip turned on? Probley I could play games with the chip on. When it's off it goes back to error 16 right? I don't care because i'll always have it turned on. . So once I get a chip is there a way to boot the games with the chip turned on?

Install and flash the chip with a bios of your choice. The bios must be compatible with your version of xbox. Install a dashboard like Evox or Unleashx or whatever. From your new dashboard you can launch anything you want from games to Xbox Media Center. You can fix your error 16 also. _________________ Xbox v1.3

Cool thanks just give me a link to a bios tutorial on how to install it into your xbox. I have a v1.0 xbox!!!

The easiest way to get everything you need for your box is to become a VIP member. 10 bucks(1 year sub) and you will have everything you could need for a box. You will have access to Auto Installer Delux and Softmod Installer Delux along with great support from Vip Support Tickets. This is really the best way to have what you need.
