Any other old farts out there like me who are into the old arcade games? If so, you gotta pick up Midways Arcade Treasures. For only $19.99 it is definitely a blast from the past. I got the bug to play some old arcade games after watching a show on G4. They were showcasing a company in my home state of Pennsylvania that refurbs old coin op arcade games http://www.quarterarcade.com/Default.aspx . They do everything from new buttons, video displays, artwork and power supplies. I've got my eyes on an upright Donkey Kong and a cocktail Pac Man. They will go nicely with a bubble hockey machine!

i HAVE 2 x stand up coinop arcade machine with the following boards (games):

MORTAL KOMBAT
SHINOBI
NINJA SPIRIT
GI JOE

I was going to put a xbox into a arcade box and setup all the options so that you could just play a game.. But then i thought.. Stuff standing up playing xbox heheheh :0

Ive still got the machines but they are rarely even turned on.. Save your money guys.. I thought it was a good idea at the time but wish i had my money back now to buy much cooler stuff.

just my 2 cents..!

Am envious of you forahobby. I just love arcade games. My wife turned our beautiful game room into a Nail Salon Crying or Very sad Giving me no room for a lot of my toys.

I am currently working on a plan to gain the space back...he he. Twisted Evil I would like to have about 4 uprights, two cocktails, two pinball machines and a console gaming lounge area.

The machines I would be most interested in obtaining are pretty much the classics. Pac-Man, Asteroids, Asteroid Deluxe, Galaga, Centipede, Defender, Missle Command. Speaking of Missle Command just for the record, I shattered the high score for our look alike webgame... patting myself on the back..

every time the wife goes shopping she brings home more toys for the kids. Then it ends up in my game room. So I feel your pain man

Speaking of the Midway Arcade Treasures, I just grabbled the Nanco bundle with Pacman, MsPacman, Galaga, Galaxian, Dig Dug and Pole Position. There are a few other Pacman spinoffs, nothing major. I was in awe of the file size..or, there lack of. Most games that I back up are between 2and 4Gig. Nanco was 311MB...that's it... 311MB! That is totally hysterical. Sometimes I guess I just forget how far gaming has come.
