at first I thought the files didn't transfer but I fould out the went to the xbox E: several attempts made but it will not allow file to transfer to c:.
How can I upload the dashboard. According to the tutorial I've been following the evox.ini and evoxdash.xbe files need to be trans to C: to launch dash

trying different things I dropped my firewall and then was able to trans to C: but after trans the two files to the c: root directory my dash still wont load. I pretty sure the bios is loaded properly (evox m7) (btw I also changed the evox.ini file to mimic my IP adds settings)
My main goal right now to to be able to back up my games and play them but I want this to be an ongoing mod where I may add big HDD and use other features I'm just scratching the surface of. Besides getting my dash to work can anyone also offer there oppinion of the best Bios/Dash for what I want right now.

get the autoinstaller ,burn it on the dvd-r ,
with it you can reflash your chip , reformat the harddrive and install msdash and a hacked dash of you choice ,
plus you have all the apps and emus on there
for xbox v1.0-1.4 use x2 4983.06 bios
for v 1.5 use evox m8 plus
