Hi,
This may sound a stupid question but how do you enable/disable the xenium ice chip ??.
I usually use xecuter chips with their switch banks and this is my first Xenium install so pardon my stupidity
Or is it a long press on the power button to boot to ms dash and a short press to boot to unleash or what ever dash you've installed....as with the X3 ??
I've read various install manuals and it doesn't seem to mention it......or if it does i can't see for looking
Anyway......if somebody could point me in the right direction that would be great

Basically, you don't really disable the chip. You just ask the Xenium to not launch the bios that it has stored on it, and instead request it to load the "Retail Kernel"
At the Launch Menu select, Add Item. Select TSOP. When you do this, you will have a keyboard image on your screen with the words "RETAIL KERNEL" written on it.
Just select, DONE. Then apply a color for the LED to be when the MS bios (retail kernel) is being ran.
Now, when you turn your machine on and get the XOS screen and visit the Launch Menu you will see two things listed.
Retail Kernel
Hacked Bios (of course your names are going to be different)
If you select Retail Kernel, then the MS bios is launched, your chip is essentially non existent. This is how you game on XBL.
There are also ways that you can configure your machine to automatically bootup to the hacked bios or retail bios with just the press of a button while the machine is booted. I don't like using those, but look for "quick launch" or "quick boot" options. I beleive that's what Xodus calls them.
