One of my incompetent buddies was tinkering with my xbox the other day and managed to f#&@ something up real good. Now it loads the Xbox dashboard instead of EvoX and I can't connect to it with FTP nor even ping it.
I had it modded by someone else so I'm not sure about the specifics of my modchip but I seem to recall he soldered it to the box and flashed something or other and then removed it.
Will I need to re-mod it or will it do to reinstall EvoX eg with SuperDisc?

its no big deal as long as you can still boot backups which im pretty sure you will be able to do. I hope youve got a modchip anyway its always easier then softmodding for me anyway..
If you can still boot backups fine then i would suggest download the XBOXHQ Auto Installer Deluxe from the VIP FTP Server or from the bittorrent links on the AID homepage here: http://www.aid.xbox-hq.com
Once you download the AID Deluxe v1.01 just burn it to a CDRW or better a DVD-R and boot it in your xbox.. You can then reinstall your EVOX DASHBOARD and setup your network settings again..
