Hey,

I have a 1.6 xbox and i heard about the new spider 1.1 solderless chip and was thinking about getting it. The thing is that they say that if u want to flash the chip with a different bios, you have to use their special cromwell bios that is already installed on their and go through that. I was wondering, how could i install the Eox_m8Bios on to my chip? would the auto installer do it for me? sry if this is a dumb question, im a n00b at this.

Hi,

With bioses its best just to download say the 'XBOXHQ BIOS CD PACK' from the VIP DOWNLOADS or just choose a single bios like the M8 bios you want to run..Smile

Then you burn the bios files or file to a CDRW and boot your xbox so that it asks for a bios cd.. (the cromwell screen).. Then it should find the bios and flash it..

anyway, once you flsahed you can then boot any AUTOINSTALLER, EMULATOR or DASH!

I havent personally used the AutoInstaller Deluxe to flash bioses so i cant comment..

Once you burn a CDRW (I used a DVD-R), power on the Xbox,
the Cromwell BIOS will give you an option of flashing from the
DVD-ROM. The process is very simple.
