Wow, normally I dont' get surprised much but today I went to EB Games to purchase three refurbished Xbox's for some refurb orders that I have to fill.
I get them for 129.99 each...personally, I don't know why someone just doesn't spend the extra 20.00 and get a new one, but hey...I guess that's a couple six packs in the long run...lol.
Anyway, I opened one up chipped it...set it aside. Opened up the other, chipped it, set it aside....and opened up the third and about shit my pants...it was a HALO SE model. I couldn't believe that! Even though they gave me a suck ass Duke Controller with it...still. Was very suprising.
Now I have to go back and buy another cuz I want to keep this one.....lol.

Yes, not too many people know that I am a blind modder. I didnt realize it was a Halo SE until I opened it up and felt the braille insignia on the lower left hand side of the mobo. Soldering is somewhat a bitch, I burn my fingers a lot.
Okay, so I am laying on the sarcasm...HA... What I meant by opening up was I opend the box that it comes in. I opened the first two boxes and they were black machines...I opened the third and it was a Halo SE model...translucent Green with the Black Jewel and Halo insignia on the right front of the machine. It didn't come with the Halo SE S Controller though, that is why I made mention of the Duke controller. I didnt have to open the controller either, just in case you were wondering
