I recently run short of cdrw and dvdr so i used some cheap cdr's on my xbox which is a v1.5.And was suprised that they work fine not one problem.The disks i used are DATASAFE 52x SILVER PREMIUM 80 minute CD-R.

What DVDROM do you have in your XBOX??
Its probably a SAMSUNG!
If it is then it will read any CDR/CDRW/DVD-R

It is a samsung.I just wish i knew it would read cdr's before i wasted my dvd-r's.
I hope my post will help others to save some cash.
