I am very interested in getting an Xecuter 3 CE chip and a black X3 control panel pro (with or without LCD). I am quite amazed that all sites that used to carry these are either long dead or no longer stocking. I have not even been able to find a used one that was not strapped to a box. I would not mind this, if the only people who actually responded were not trying to get around $500 out of me. I already have a solderless adapter I just need a chip.

I would not mind this, if the only people who actually responded were not trying to get around $400 out of me. So anyhow, I just need some leads as to where I might find the parts I mentioned, and hopefully a good deal on some boxes that include them if thats all I can get.

Let us know if you have any luck finding anything. Smile

Many of the sites listed have Xecuter hardware, just nothing I am looking for, mostly 360 parts for those who are looking. Thanks for the leads though!

Nope, still no Xecuter 3 CE chip or control panel. Sorry I am not quoting people and all that jazz, I do not know how to work a forum post format.

Post subject: X3 Modchip and LCD Panel

I had a forum message exchange with Xecuter (yes, THE Xecuter) on the Team Xecuter forums about 6 months ago regarding existing or future supply of the X3 modchip and LCD control panel. He basically said there was none for sale and he had no intention of manufacturing any further stock. The mold for the panel was gone ($75,000 for a new one) and at least one part for the X3 chip was no longer available.

He offered to sell me a bunch of X2 chips but I declined. Like you, I was only interested in the X3 and LCD panel. End of story.

You may want to check out a new OG Xbox modchip coming from Benny Diamond. You can find a long thread about it at AssemblerGames in the Xbox (Original console) forum. He is legit and expects to have it available soon. People are doing some testing on samples.

If you're still reading, it may interest you to know that I have several Xboxes with the LCD panel and one panel kit (black) in an unopened package. I also have several X3CE modchips (used but working). I have sold two of the consoles on eBay for $350 average price. I have contemplated selling the rest of the gear but hate the eBay hassle and fees. Let me know if you're interested.

A new modchip is very interesting but from what I have read on it it does not sound very special, also I am a little skittish when it comes to testing new hard and software on my Xbox as I only have one and almost no knowledge of modding. I would be much more interested in buying an X3CE chip and LCD faceplate from you, but I only have about a hundred USD and a thousand Peso (MEX$) to my name. If that won't do It'll probably be a couple months until I can meet a fair trade.
