I've got a modded xbox (xbmc) that has a bad ethernet port. No connection. I'm able to load the mod, load dash, load emulators, but I use FTP to add the roms. Is there any other way around this? Will the xbox read a data disc? I know I can use something like a 2gb usb stick but have around 4.2gb worth of games. Didn't want to wait for stick to ship if there was another way around this. Thanks for any help.

Copy your files onto a DVD or CDRW and then just use the XBMC file explorer or UnleashX dashboard to copy the files wherever you want them. That's how I'd do it I guess. _________________ HQ Network:

I'll give that a try. I'll try DVDR first. I can't ever seem to get the xbox's to read cdr. Plus, all my files should fit onto one. Post back tomorrow with results.

I tried the DVDR (which I know it can read cause I use for mod's) and it shows the name of the disc, but when I click on DVD Drive it give error "Remote Share Path not found or invalid". Is there a certain program I need to burn the files? I'm just using windows to burn the roms onto a disc. ALSO, I tried using a cdr and it did not work either. I also tried burning both methods in windows- as data disc and as zip/usb drive.
