HELLO GRELBEEZ!
Today, I shall be "reviewing" Bust-a-Move - Ultra (USA) [Taito Corporation / Majesco Games 2004] in my usual no holds barred fashion!
RIGHT!
Not too shabby of a release but if I'm TRULY honest, the TAITO-FX/AES (coin-op) versions are what got me SPILLING my baby-gravy all over the show! This version isn't that bad but it feels "cardboardy" (if that's a word) and not as "fulfilling" as the original coin-op releases!
That said, it's suitable for ALL game fans who just want to whittle the hours away getting PASTED by the embedded CPU-AI or a 2UP (or more) players with an ONLINE mode! (of which I haven't bothered with, I like my masturbation in private, NOT in the multiplayer arenas!) so without further delays, I'll hand the baton over to "Gamefaqs" on the summary judgements of this title!
Code:
The Bust-A-Move series moves onto the Xbox with an online multiplayer mode, a new 3D Puzzle mode, and five new Challenge Puzzle modes. As in previous installments, your task in Ultra Bust-A-Move is to launch randomly colored balls from the bottom of the field in an attempt to attach them to bubbles of the same color. Once three bubbles of the same color are touching, they pop, causing all connected bubbles to drop. Your objective is to clear the screen of all bubbles.
