okay first i messed up by deleting my xbmc folder while it was running so i turned it off and went and got my AID disk and popped it in and re installed xbmc and other things but did so without unmounting the virtual c drive and so now when i try to boot the xbox i get various error codes like 13 14 and 20. so i tried making a slayers disk and that didnt boot either. But the xbox will run games so i have no idea what to do so can some one help?
Can you run a Live Enabled game and try to sign into xbox live ?
You dont want to be connected to the net, just go through the motions of signing into live, this will hopefully update your dash and give you a starting point. _________________
okay so i tried to put in metal slug five and go to the xbox live tab and it made the sound the xbox makes when you are on the dashboard and moving through things but then it reboots and starts to boot the game again and when booting without the game it still has no dashboard

You did make one right?
Is it still booting the AID disk? Use that to restore your back ups.
no i didnt (oops >.>) and no it doesnt boot the AID
